Job Title: Sales Director - Test and Measurement Instruments

 Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead and manage our sales team for our Test and Measurement Instruments product line in the US market. The Sales Director will be responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets by developing and implementing sales strategies, managing sales operations, and building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives, including market segmentation, account targeting, and sales forecasting.
  • Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to help them achieve their individual and team targets.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and support for sales activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, such as revenue, pipeline, and conversion rates, and provide regular reports to the executive team.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote the company and its products.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of sales experience in the test and measurement instruments industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and leading sales teams, with a strong focus on coaching and developing team members.
  • Knowledge of the US market and customer base in the test and measurement instruments industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
